RADIATE YOUR LIGHT CREATIONS & EMPOWERMENT

This morning, a member of Team Zoe launched a beautiful website called Radiate Your Light Creations. Its creator, Meg, was one of Zoe’s awesome teachers in the Needham High School Post-Grad Transition Program that we love to talk about at Zo Much More.

Meg is always a fountain of positive energy with a passion for the transition age group (18-22) that is so often under-served. She spent endless hours in the community with Zoe working on travel training and life skills but more importantly, making sure to create relationships for Zoe, the person, along the way. She brought daily yoga into Zoe’s classroom and she just always seemed to know how to enable Zoe to channel her sensory seeking needs productively in any setting. To this day and I expect for many more years to come, we can still empower new members of Team Zoe by sharing with them Meg’s exact language for a situation. And whenever I play the name game with someone in the special education community and we match on Meg’s name, the result is nothing but smiles, praise and genuine appreciation.

Meg has been incredibly supportive of Zo Much More from day one and the New Parent Bracelet Stack - one with the baby’s name, one with the baby’s initials, and one with the parent’s chosen moniker - was Meg’s idea. It inspired other Zo Much More designs New Parent designs such as the Birth Date bracelet, key chain and picture holder as well.

If you know Meg, it will come as no suprise that in the process of launching a new initiative, she’s creating space for others. Meg asked if she could highlight Zoe, Zo Much More and Chestnut Dental (Zoe’s employer) in her Empower section and let’s just say, it’s a beautiful read!
