SUMMER ‘25 CATCH-UP PART 2: APPRECIATION

One of the most frequent requests we get at Zo Much More are for gifts intended to convey appreciation. Teachers, Coaches, Hosts etc. are all among the target recipients. We had a the privilege of handling a few fun projects like this of late.

First, there was a very fun collaboration between Zo Much More and a teammate of Zoe’s from the East Coast Jumbos, a Zo Much More charity partner. Her teammate was moving on from his elementary school and wanted to show his appreciation for the 20ish teachers (and some friends) who had made these school years such a positive experience for him. He requested that Zoe make bracelets in his school colors, with his school name, his initials and to include a bead with a heart. When we were working on possible designs, Zoe made the discovery that his initials actually appear in the school’s name and decided to incorporate it into the design. These bracelets were incredibly well-received!

Teacher Appreciation Bracelet

Fresh off their first collaboration, Zoe’s teammate and his mother came back with a second appreciation request - this one for his horseback instructors. This time, he wanted to use horseback group’s colors, something associated with horses and, of course, a signature heart! When our initial design plan to surround the heart with the horseshoe didn’t pan out, Zoe quickly pivoted to a different design by extending the red beads through the horseshoe instead and placing the heart on the opposite side. Another success story!

A couple more examples of teacher appreciation from near and far! One incorporated a personal thank you message into a stretch wrap itself- and the other used their district’s colors & initials.

And last (for this post), but most certainly not least, Zo Much More was thrilled for the 3rd year in a row to have the chance to donate something for each recipient at our our district’s annual SEPAC Awards where teachers and staff are nominated and recognized for their outstanding contributions to special education. This was a bittersweet year as it marked the last time - after 18 years - that our family would be eligible to nominate someone - but this is always a feel-good event! Zoe made these Fidget Pens in our SEPAC’s colors flanked by the dates of the academic year. Congrats to all the SEPAC Award Winners on this well-deserved recognition!

We appreciate the chance to help our customers show their appreciation!
