We need to be honest. Collecting contributions was never on the Zo Much More roadmap. We set ourselves up as for-profit social enterprise so that we could run this business in a way that would be flexible to Zoe’s needs over time and would allow us to support our charity partners to our fullest extent possible. We have priced our products in a way that simply allows us to cover our costs, make our donation to our charity partners and if there’s anything left over, we reinvest it in the business.

However, over time, we find that so many people approach us wanting to make a contribution that we’ve finally decided to enable that ability. We need to be clear that since we are not a non-profit, it is not tax-deductible but it is very much in support of our mission.

It is still always our preference to provide some products or services and never our intention to actively solicit contributions but we also respect that sometimes people feel strongly that they want to contrinute but don’t necessarily need something we provide.

We pledge to use this money for “More” and what we mean by that is that we will put it toward “More”:

• In-Kind Donations to our Charity Partners;

• In-Kind Donations to other organizations who, like our current Charity Partners, share our passion for improving the quality of life of individuals with ASD and intellectual disabilities;

• Reduced pricing whenever possible for our Non-Profit customers;

• Investments in new product development, equipment, supplies, etc.
